While LASIK is the most commonly discussed eye surgery, it is not the only option available. Photorefractive Keratectomy, also known as PRK, is an effective type of laser eye surgery that can help you achieve clear vision. If LASIK is not a perfect fit for your unique needs, you may consider PRK surgery.
Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) was the precursor to LASIK and is still an excellent laser eye surgery option for many patients. One of our PRK patients, Rebecca, decided to have laser vision correction just before a trip to Hawaii so she could enjoy her vacation unencumbered by contact lenses or prescription eyeglasses. She shares her experience in the video above.
