Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) was the precursor to LASIK and is still an excellent laser eye surgery option for many patients. One of our PRK patients, Rebecca, decided to have laser vision correction just before a trip to Hawaii so she could enjoy her vacation unencumbered by contact lenses or prescription eyeglasses.
